This was Teija's room at first, and it had pink and white flowerly wallpaper
over the whole thing... I don't know what after that.... after Teija moved out
Tyanna moved in to this one. Then it became Janae's. (Yes I stayed in the same
room for my whole life. I felt like I would be abandoning my life if I switched
rooms). This room mostly reminds me of curling hair for some reason. I guess cause
it had a dresser/ mirror with bench to sit on, so we always curled hair in this
room. This picture doesn't show all the shelves to the left, but I painted them. All of the grad dresses and Teija's wedding dress were in the closet in this room forever. All of Janae's 'stuff'' on the shelves.
I felt pretty lucky to get to choose the color that went into the room. I really wanted a baby blue. Its a good color but I think the only reason I liked it so much was because that was tyanna's favorite color at the time and I wanted to be just like her haha. Then mom picked out the quilt in Utah and I really didn't like it for some reason, but it grew on me after a while and it looked good. I loved the night stand and always hated it when it got cluttered with things I liked to see the pretty white paint. There was always a bunch of random nic nacks on the side shelves.
Many long nights having sleepovers and climbing out the window to sit on the roof and watch the stars or the sunset. moving my bed to the window so I could watch the stars and the Christmas lights and think about how awesome life was. Janae
Used to be Teija's room with lovely wall paper and she had a huge picture frame with her blessing dress and baby picture in it I always thought that was cool that she had that. Then I was lucky enough to move in with her for awhile don't know how she thought of that,but I was so excited to be with my big sister. Then it became my room after she left then down the road it was Janae's. Amron did the shelves and I thought that was cool that he did that and it looks awesome!Lots of times doing hair in the room and crying cause didn't want my hair done! good times! Tyanna
It was boys room forever and remember always running in there and them always getting mad.I will never forget mom and dad were gone one day and Amron had us girls come into the room and he had a awesome idea so we were laying on his bed and he said he had a list for us to do and we had to get it done as fast as we could and see who the winner would be. So us girls thought it was cool,not knowing that it was all his jobs to do! We did it though and found out later! I got to pick the new colors when I moved in and I still love the colors in there! It was awesome moving in there,so cool to have a huge room all to myself! Tyanna
This was the boys' room (Ezra, Aaron and Amron)
It had dark blue paint, with a geese wallpaper border at first. Then Amron moved downstairs and the twins got a basketball border. I
remember taking down all the geese wallpaper. Us girls were helping mom because
it was a surprise for the boys to get the new sports wallpaper. After it was
done I thought it was so cool, and wanted to have a basketball themed wallpaper
border in my room.
After Ezra and Aaron moved out, Tyanna got this room. For whatever reason I remember one time us three younger girls (me Tyanna
and Janae) were super hyper one night and we were jumping on the boys' beds and
giggling and yelling and I clearly remember having my pink minnie mouse night
gown on and I think the boys were at Bball Practice, because I don't remember
them being there. Anyway we were running from room to room, jumping on the
boys' beds mostly when we heard my dad yell " GIRLS!!! quiet down up
there!!!!" I remember we all giggled ourselves silly and tried to be
quiet, but you know how that can go for little kids. I think he ended up having
to come up and put us in our beds.
I also remember Amron had to sleep up here on Christmas Eve and one year, Dad said I had to ask Amron if it was time to get up yet. I remember going in there and asking Amron if we could get up yet, probably 3 or 4 times before 6am.... waiting for Christmas morning as a kid is like torture! Kayla
I remember the basketball wallpaper. I thought it was so cool and I wanted it in my room. I remember keeping an extra piece of it when I was young cause I was going to put it up on my wall. once the boys moved out tyanna moved in here and I got the blue room. I was so excited to have my own room! I remember painting it the colors it is now and putting the flooring in. I think amron did a lot of it. and tyanna got that big nice bed! it was so nice I remember always asking tyanna if I could sleep with her cause I wanted to sleep on the nice soft mattress. then once everyone was out of the house but me I basically lived in the blue room but slept in here cause the bed was so much nicer and I didn't have to clean my room in order to sleep on my bed. But sometimes I would get scared easily in that room by myself because of all the empty dark space and it echoed pretty good.
I remember lots of talks with Emily Tiffany and Jill in this room. Janae
I always remember washing walls in this room and I hated it! not sure why but it was just that room. Kayla and Annie having sleep overs all the time and them staying up late talking! Tyanna
So this was my bedroom. When I was little it had pink flowery wall paper, and then a border of pink
teddy bears. Next it was a soft yellow, with a purple themed flowered border of
wallpaper. I had a matching yellow/purple flower quilt and matching curtains
too. Then just a couple years ago we painted it this color and got new quilt
etc.hmmmm what does my room remind me of? nightly phone calls with friends, journal writing, sleepovers with friends and staying up super late probably gossping, staying up really late reading. I remember wanting to sleep in the closet sometimes. Thought it would be
cool to have my own little personal space in the closet. haha. I used to lay on my bed and look at the stars out my window. Climbing out my window to hang out on the roof - all the time! Around Christmas time, I would fall asleep always looking out at the lights hanging above
my window and think of Reindeer and Santa, and I would listen for them on
Christmas eve. :)
I remember the boys would always come in our room, turn on the lights and throw our blankets off, then yell at us to come down for scriptures. Oh I hated when they did that. Sometimes they would come in with the vacuum, because they had to vacuum upstairs or they couldn't go to practice or something. hated that too.
-Seems like I have ALWAYS had that dresser... -maybe I have.. the dresser
just makes me think about all the things I used to have on it. My music playing
spinning horse. A teddy bear. Winter decor in winter. Pictures on the mirror.

The three girls shared this room when I was young. we had that double bed and the single blue matress. we always fought over who got the single cause we didn't want to sleep with the other. kayla and I would always fight about where the line was on the bed. it looks much better now yellow than with all the wall paper and pink colors. I remember kayla always on the phone with some friend or boy late at night and I would be mad at her on the inside cause she I could hear her from my room. when kayla left I would sometimes go in here to write in my journal or talk on the phone cause it was always clean and rarely used.
