Home! What else is there to say! What a great childhood it was to live there! So many laughs, fights, cries, tears, hugs, wrestling, giggles, and lots more! What a place to live! We were so blessed weren't we! Fun times with all of us and learning! We learned so much! Think we realize it was just a place a wonderful place but none the less a place! We took good care of it and it was wonderful! But our parents taught us everything we needed to know in that home and on that land! Home is one of the nicest words there is!! Tyanna
I want to go back! I miss the space, the dust on the road, the cool summer evenings and frosty mornings. The crisp air riding bikes to the bus stop when we were little, skating on the pond, tubing. Playing 500-up and swans flying just above our heads. The smell of hay, the flowers, the everything. I guess I never really knew what we had. The old combine and fuel tanks (a long time ago) the barn, playing with our green trucks out front. Hopefully my kids can feel about our home that way one day!
such a beautiful home and landscape! It was always so nice to see the house coming down the driveway and just be grateful for what we had; especially when it was Christmas and all the lights were on and the reflecting snow. My entire life was spent in that house. Lots of hard work to keep it clean, and looking beautiful, yet so much fun and learning took place there. Everything we needed to know we learned at home. Miss it and love it. Always will.
I miss playing in the huge yard. Miss the space and playing catch, 500 up, soccer, football, jumping on the trampoline, playing basketball etc. I love looking at the sunset out the kitchen and dining room window. Miss those sunsets. How about hanging up Christmas lights? That was awesome...said no one ever. Actually it wasn't that bad. Throwing wood down the woodshoot was always fun too.
There are too many fun things to list. How about mom getting hurt every time we played baseball outside? Putting the sprinkler under the trampoline. That was fun. I miss home, but the memories will always last forever.
"Home is where the heart is, where love and joy abound. Home is where warm circling arms go all the way around." So many memories. This is where we grew to be the people we are today. What a blessing, what an experience. This will always be home, so glad the people we love we get to take with us and don't have to leave them behind. Thanks for making this be our learning ground and all the things you taught us Mom and Dad.
